The Opportunity

Krapopolis pioneered FOX’s first blockchain-integrated primetime series—an ambitious experiment in turning viewers into participants.

While most fandom ends with streaming or social media, Krapopolis gave fans something more: ownership, influence, and access. Through NFT-based voting, token-gated content, and behind-the-scenes exclusives, it transformed traditional viewership into an interactive experience.

The project created value across three key groups:

🐔 Fans
Gained access to exclusive content, early animatics, and show decisions—giving them a stake in the story and status in the flock.

🦊 FOX & BCL
Explored new engagement models through Web3—boosting fan loyalty, earning press, and testing NFT-based monetization.

🎬 The Creative Team
Received real-time audience feedback and built episodes with fan participation in mind—bringing fans closer to the writers’ room than ever before.

With over 10,000 “Krap Chickens” minted and a voting system powered by Snapshot.org, Krapopolis redefined what participatory storytelling could look like on network TV.

Home Page

The Krapopolis homepage blends lore and utility.
Designed to feel like part of the show’s mythos, it welcomed fans into a chaotic ancient world while surfacing key features like token-gated access, show info, and NFT utility. The experience balanced world-building with clear, actionable paths for new and returning visitors.

Viewing Room

The Viewing Room gave fans exclusive access to Krapopolis content.
Holders of Krap Chickens could log in to a private portal to watch animatics, sneak peeks, and early cuts creating a VIP fan experience that blurred the line between audience and insider.

Animatic Clips

Krapopolis unlocked a behind-the-scenes look at animation in progress.
Fans who held Krap Chickens could access early animatic clips rough, in-production scenes that offered a raw glimpse into how episodes were coming together before they hit the screen.

Leaderboard

Krapopolis turns fandom into friendly competition. NFT holders climb the ranks by voting on show decisions, unlocking exclusive content, and engaging with the community giving them a visible role in shaping the series and showing off their status in the flock.

Show Voting

Krapopolis empowers fans to help shape the story literally. NFT holders vote on fun plot points like “which goat gets sacrificed?” or “which sailor gets slapped by the Kraken?” before episodes air. Powered by Snapshot.org, each “Krap Chicken” NFT equals a vote, turning viewing into a participatory experience and giving fans a stake in the unfolding comedy.
